Since last year, we were warned about the power outage in 2010 but the government assured that they’re doing everything to prevent power problems. January 2010 came and we experienced 2-3 hours brownout in Metro Manila, caused by the lack of coal supply in Sual power plant (in Pangasinan).
Before Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao were already placed under brownout red alert and have been experiencing rotating brownout. Officially today, Metro Manila and other parts of Luzon will suffer from 2 to three hours brownout daily. This was caused by the power supply problem from Sual and Masinloc (Zambales) power plants.
Reports stated that the situation may last for 5 days - hopefully, but I doubt it. This problem might last until May elections. I don’t want to elaborate further my opinion regarding my statement but I wanted to ask you guys to act on our current situation. Let us be responsible in dealing with mother nature.
We all know that we get our power supply from nature and we are currently experiencing climate change. It is time to become aware of global warming. This global activity needs our support.

Have you heard the news lately?
The Department of Health (DOH) ordered the total ban of using mercury thermometer because of health risks.
DOH said that mercury is highly toxic. It may be fatal if inhaled and harmful if absorbed through skin. It can damage the nervous, digestive, respiratory and immune system.
If exposed a person can also suffer from tremors, impaired hearing and vision, insomnia, paralysis, emotional instability, developmental deficits during fetal development and attention deficit and developmental delays during childhood.
Mommies, if you are still using mercury thermometer, you should be cautious to avoid breakage and mercury inhalation or better turnover your thermometer in any public hospital and they will be the one responsible for its proper disposal.
I know that digital thermometer is expensive than thermometer with metallic elements but just keep in mind the safety of the family.

Do you want to belong? If yes, read on! This is a job for ME to explain and for you to find out more about Real Leaf Green Tea.
The now popular and sought after Real Leaf Green Tea is made from 100% real green tea leaves that is naturally packed with THEANINE.
According to studies, theanine helps reduce physical and mental stress. It promotes alpha brain waves, and increase the brain’s production of dopamine to give us an alert yet relaxed awareness.
Now it’s time for reality search…off to find Real Leaf evidence.
See what I see?
Subject No. 1 A teenager
He’s busy drinking his Real Leaf. I can’t tell the flavor he’s drinking because he’s about to cross the street.
Well, teenage life they say is the most exciting and stressful because it is the time when young adults explore, experiment, study and learn more things about being human.
Good thing, there’s Real Leaf Green Tea in Honey Lemon, Honey Apple and Honey Lychee flavors that suits the teenagers taste as they explore life amid peer pressure.
Subject No. 2 A traffic policeman (What?)
Under the heat of the sun, Mr. Policeman is busy fixing traffic along a busy street in Manila, with Real Leaf Green Tea Honey Apple flavor as his refreshment.
Being a policeman is a tough and exhausting job, they have to earn the respect of the people. They are bound to protect and serve their fellowmen and the country and make sure the laws are imposed and peace, attained.
Good thing there is Real Leaf Green Tea a RELIEF from exhaustion and it enables him to stay alert always.
Subject No. 3 Employee
Rank and file employees work hard to earn for the sake of their family. It is depressing to admit that the cost of living allowance a day for casual employees does not suffice. Even though that is the reality, single or married employees still find ways to help their family alleviate from poverty.
Good thing there is Real Leaf Green Tea - RELIEF for employee to fight stress at work so there’s still extra energy for pleasure and relaxation with the family.
Subject No. 4 The Price
As I stroll in a leading supermarket, I found out that a 480 ml of Real Leaf Green Tea costs P17.95 just enough for a student’s budget and the 1 liter costs P24.50 good for consumption of a family of five people.
Good thing Real Leaf gives much more value to our peso - such a RELIEF!
Now, I hope you are convinced why people from all walks of life love Real Leaf Green Tea. Real Leaf fits our health and budget!
After the blue moon experience on New Year’s Eve, we will witness again another natural event in astronomy – the partial solar eclipse where the moon will partially cover the sun.
It will be seen in some areas of the country at it will be the longest solar eclipse this year, according to the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA).
Pagasa stated that,” The eclipse magnitude will be 8.2 percent and will also be visible primarily from Alaska, Australia, Indonesia, Asia, Africa, Europe including the British Isles and the Arctic Region. The eclipse will begin at 1:17 Philippine Standard Time (PST) and will end at 5:28 AM (PST).“
Aside from the blue moon and partial lunar eclipse, Quadrantid meteor shower - which started last January 1 of 40 meteors per hour, will be visible until tonight.
