The very first time I watched Jovit Baldivino sang “Faithfully” in one of Pilipinas Got Talent’s episodes, I knew he’s going to make it to the finals. This siomai vendor of Batangas indeed captured the heart of many Filipinos. His life is a perfect picture of rags to riches story, an inspiration to many Pinoys. Last night, even though I am not that avid watching PGT, I waited just to hear Jovit’s piece before I went to bed. Araneta Coliseum was filled with applause, lauding Jovit’s powerful performance of ” Too Much Love Will Kill You”. In fairness to the other eleven contestants, they have shown their best and showcased their Filipino talent. But tonight, Jovit got majority of text votes from his supporters, from those who believe in his talent and I was overwhelmed when I heard Jovit’s name as the first grand winner of Pilipinas Got Talent. You really deserve it. Mabuhay ka, Jovit! Security in any aspect matters most. We cannot foresee unfortunate event that may happen to us but we can do something for the sake of our own security even in simple things like boarding a taxi cab. I wanted to share to you these simple reminders just in case you forgot some important belongings in the taxi which and because a friend of a friend was robbed and killed on board a taxi - the suspect was the driver itself. And I cannot allow any of my family members or friends to experience the same fate. When on board a taxi, do get the name of the cab (and the driver if possible) plus the contact number of the transportation company or the operator and the plate number. You can find these information printed on the door of the driver and passenger’s seat. You can document the information using your cellphone and send it to any of your family members or friends just to be sure they know your whereabouts. If in case you don’t have cellphones, use pen and paper. But if you still don’t have these stuffs, then might as well use your brain and memorize even at least the name of the taxi and the plate number. Just in case any bad things happen we can have some information to rely on to haunt those bad guys. Aunt was still in trauma when I talked to her last weekend when I learned that she was a victim of a car accident. Because of what happened we also tackled about Los Angeles Insurance.
As I silently sail in the depths of my tranquility the sun reflects some glorious moments worth sharing. Proving God is really good to me no matter what. A week ago, I received 12 packs of Real Leaf Green Tea. Thanks Real Leaf and Nuffnang! My family and friends enjoyed and were refreshed. They started to spread the good news about the product of Coca-Cola Philippines. The other night when I opened my email, I was surprised upon reading Earthlingorgeous’ notification stating that I have a gift pack from her good blog sponsored by Megaworld. I still have to fix my schedule so I can pick-up the item in Eastwood City. Hopefully I can claim the GP this week but I have lots of stuff to do, finish and solved. (Forgive me, my friends if I can’t have much time with you. I’m still in the immense state of fixing my cluttered life. Don’t worry I know my responsibilities with you.) I’m just waiting for the big thing. Hope it will be a good catch.

I really love joining blog contest and am also planning to launch my own but I’m still in transition mode. Maybe after I set back things to normal I can facilitate my own blog contest as thanksgiving if ever I surpassed the rough decision I made recently.Since last year, we were warned about the power outage in 2010 but the government assured that they’re doing everything to prevent power problems. January 2010 came and we experienced 2-3 hours brownout in Metro Manila, caused by the lack of coal supply in Sual power plant (in Pangasinan). Before Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao were already placed under brownout red alert and have been experiencing rotating brownout. Officially today, Metro Manila and other parts of Luzon will suffer from 2 to three hours brownout daily. This was caused by the power supply problem from Sual and Masinloc (Zambales) power plants.Reports stated that the situation may last for 5 days - hopefully, but I doubt it. This problem might last until May elections. I don’t want to elaborate further my opinion regarding my statement but I wanted to ask you guys to act on our current situation. Let us be responsible in dealing with mother nature. We all know that we get our power supply from nature and we are currently experiencing climate change. It is time to become aware of global warming. This global activity needs our support. |
