I heard that Pound for Pound King Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao is on the cover of Time Magazine (Asia). Is it true? If it is, then good. It’s Time Magazine and only few Pinoys were featured by the world known mag. If I remember it right, the late President Corazon Aquino was on Time’s cover twice - during her reign and after she died a few months ago. But did you know that the first ever Filipino on cover was the late President Manuel Quezon published on November 1935? On the other hand, General Emilio Aguinaldo was the first Filipino featured in Time (You can check it here). Featured also were late Presidents Manuel Roxas, Ramon Magsaysay and Ferdinand Marcos. In addition, stories about theater actress Lea Salonga, Billiard King Efren “Bata” Reyes, Bowling King Paeng Nepomuceno were also published by Time. Can you tell me some more Pinoys in Time Magazine?
